i am K'rK
I am an artist and in my work I deal with strength.
with strength. Strength, the different types and
especially the perception of strength.
That’s why I explore this world. I look for motifs that have strength in them – and turn them into strong art.
The time-consuming, sometimes arduous and sometimes dangerous process of finding a motif is an important part of the creative process for me. After all, it’s not just the motif alone that gives a work of art its impact. It is also the story behind it.
Join me on this adventurous journey – let’s experience powerful stories together.

Thailand is known for its beautiful palm-fringed beaches, warm blue water, humid tropical heat and the many sweet little islands. Europeans fly to Thailand when they want to escape the dreary cold of winter back home. However, Thailand is not the country that most people first associate with strength.
What is a strong animal? When I think of “strong” animals, the wilderness immediately comes to mind. Raw, hard, untamed, immediate and dangerous. For me, the wilderness is characterized by the unadorned struggle for survival, the daily confrontation between strength and weakness. I wanted to explore this wilderness and as an instrument I chose the “Ranger” in South Africa.
